Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Nationwide Billing Group, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use RememberEvent, including the website at rememberevent.com and the event photo gallery web application used to create galleries and upload photos (collectively, the "Service").

RememberEvent, TempSocial (tempsocial.app), and CampgroundMeet (cgmeet.com) are operated by the same company, Nationwide Billing Group, LLC, and run on shared infrastructure. Information is handled under this single privacy program regardless of which of our brands you use.

1. What RememberEvent Is

RememberEvent lets an event organizer or planner create a branded photo gallery for a single event. Guests join the gallery by scanning a QR code or link, typing a first name, and entering a shared event password — no app download and no account. Guests upload photos, and can view, favorite, comment on, and download photos in that event's gallery. RememberEvent does not provide social profiles, direct messaging, connections, ratings, or location/GPS check-in.

2. Information We Collect

From organizers / planners (account holders)

  • Account information: First name, email address, and password used to create and manage galleries.
  • Event information: Event name, an optional event date, a shared gallery entry password, and a logo or branding image you upload for the event.
  • Payment information: Payments are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number or bank details on our servers.

From gallery guests (account-less)

  • First name: The first name a guest types when entering a gallery. It is attached to that guest's uploaded photos and powers the "find my photos" name filter within the gallery.
  • A per-guest identifier: A random identifier tied to that guest's gallery session, used to group and de-duplicate a guest's own uploads. It is not linked to a name, email, or account outside the gallery.
  • Uploaded photos and activity: The photos a guest uploads, plus favorites and comments within the gallery.
  • Gallery guests do not provide an email address or create an account.

Collected automatically

  • Upload IP address and timestamp: When a photo is uploaded, we record the IP address and time. This is retained for security, abuse prevention, and legal-compliance purposes, including child-safety reporting obligations (see Section 5).
  • Device and browser information: Basic technical data such as browser type and platform, used to operate and secure the Service.
  • Logo-derived colors: When a logo is uploaded, we derive a color theme from it to style the gallery.

3. How We Use Information

  • Create and operate event photo galleries
  • Display uploaded photos to guests of the same event gallery
  • Power the in-gallery "find my photos" name filter
  • Apply your event's branding (theme the gallery from the uploaded logo)
  • Process organizer payments for galleries
  • Screen uploads for prohibited content (see Section 4)
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and protect users from abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations, including child-safety reporting

4. Photo Moderation and Minors

Because RememberEvent galleries are commonly used at events attended by children (for example, bar and bat mitzvahs), moderation is built in and, by default, set to a heightened protection level.

  • Every uploaded photo is automatically screened by an image-moderation service before it becomes visible in the gallery.
  • Galleries default to a heightened moderation setting appropriate for events that include minors; this setting stays elevated unless an organizer explicitly confirms an adults-only event.
  • Any guest can report a photo, and organizers (and we) can remove any photo. When a slideshow is displayed, it may run on a short delay so content can be caught before it appears on screen.

RememberEvent galleries are created and controlled by an adult organizer or planner. Guests of all ages, including minors, may appear in or upload photos to a gallery under the supervision and responsibility of that organizer and of the minors' parents or guardians. Organizers are responsible for obtaining any consents needed to collect and share photos taken at their event, including photos of minors. If you believe a photo of a minor was uploaded improperly, contact us or the event organizer and we will act to remove it.

5. How We Share Information

With other guests and the organizer

Photos uploaded to a gallery — and the first name attached to them — are visible to other guests of that same event gallery. The event organizer controls the gallery and can view and download all photos in it. You are responsible for how you use photos you download; we are not responsible for an organizer's or guest's use of downloaded photos.

With third-party service providers

We share information with the following providers who help us operate the Service:

ProviderPurposeData shared
StripePayment processing (organizers)Email, payment details
Cloudflare R2Photo storage and deliveryUploaded event photos
AWS RekognitionAutomated image moderationUploaded photos (scanned to enforce content rules)

We do not sell personal information. We do not share data with advertising networks or data brokers.

Child safety and content reporting

We use automated detection and guest reporting to identify and remove illegal content, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). When we become aware of apparent CSAM, we are legally required to report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to preserve the related content and associated data. We may disclose information — including uploaded photos, the first name and identifier attached to them, IP addresses, and timestamps — to NCMEC, law enforcement, or other authorities as required by law or to protect others' safety.

For legal reasons

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of our users or the public.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Event photos: A gallery and its photos are retained for 30 days after the event and then permanently deleted. This deletion window is stated up front to guests and organizers.
  • Reported or legal-hold content: Photos that have been reported, removed for a violation, or that we are legally required to preserve (such as suspected CSAM) are retained as required by law and are not deleted on the normal schedule.
  • Organizer accounts: Organizer account information is retained while the account is active. You may contact us to request deletion of your account and its data.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
  • Encrypted database connections (SSL/TLS)
  • Password hashing using bcrypt
  • Token-based authentication
  • Rate limiting to prevent abuse

Organizers are responsible for keeping account credentials, and the shared gallery password they distribute, appropriately protected.

8. Your Rights and Choices

  • Removal of a photo: Any guest can report a photo for removal. Organizers can remove photos from their gallery. You can also contact us to request removal of a specific photo, including a photo of you or of a minor in your care.
  • Access and deletion (organizers): Organizers can contact us to access or delete their account data.
  • Objection: You can contact us to object to specific processing of your information.

To exercise any of these, contact us at the email address below.

9. Cookies and Local Storage

RememberEvent uses browser local storage to hold a gallery-guest session token and preferences so a guest can keep using a gallery they've entered. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not share data with ad networks.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
